Dr Tong-Mongalo participated in the inaugural Company Law Moot Court Competition hosted by the University of Pretoria Faculty of Law in collaboration with the Companies Tribunal. The competition gave undergraduate law students an opportunity to test their legal reasoning, drafting and advocacy skills in a simulated Tribunal environment.

Dr Tong-Mongalo formed part of the panel that presided over the final round, alongside Prof Piet Delport and Adv Johan Myburgh. She also delivered reflections on behalf of the Companies Tribunal, highlighting the importance of expanding practical company law advocacy and exposing students to real-world corporate dispute resolution.
